A great book for fans of The Onion Fantastically dry humor rife with bitter, sarcastic social commentary.

3. Anyone looking for a quality work of fiction about a break-dancing mountain man super-hero and his magical sidekick unicorn
4. Communists
If you like this sort of thing, you'll love this The lists in Mountain Man Dance Moves are like a joke that's gone off on a weird tangent and you and everyone else are dying laughing but no one can begin to explain why when a confused newcomer saunters up and asks, "What's so funny?" This is absurd, hilarious, random, inane, stealthily intelligent and often brilliant comedy writing. I'm buying a stack of these to give to friends for their birthdays.
Unicorns-The Secret Fetish MMDM is "ball-bouncingly" funny! There's a curious-yellow Bergmanesque fascination with unicorns. Don't ask me why.
It really is a book of lists. They're so hilarious that I wish they were longer. The titles of the lists are even funnier than the lists themselves as many are quite brief. I would love to see another edition of this book come out. The writers of these lists, including Dan Kennedy and Bob Shea, among others, do this comedy writing right. They take their topic completely seriously. Their lists are presented as serious lists. Therein is the magic of written humor. Not unlike on-stage humor. Play it straight, and trust the audience/reader to get the joke and respond accordingly.
missed the mark with this one This book of lists is not quite as funny as the first but there are still a few laugh-out-loud entries.
Why Was This Published? I found a copy at my library and put it in my bathroom to read. After a desperate effort to find something in it to amuse me I gave up and re-read some old Newsweek magazines.
This isn't a matter of my sense of humor rendering me unable to laugh at this stuff, the fact is that this book IS NOT FUNNY.
