 DSM-IV printed in India
The book came in decent shape. It was new as described but it's not printed on the same quality paper as the version published in the US. Everything else looks exactly the same, except the front cover says JAPEE on the bottom, which is the Indian publisher, I believe. The cover is not as durable and is made of card stock like paper that will crease and bend easily. The book was mailed in a plastic envalope with no hard shell protection. It arrived within a week. For less than half of the price of the US version new, I think this is worth it. A new DSM is anticipated to come out in 2012, so this one should last 4 years.

The reason this book contains the words "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GAY PEDOPHILE" is because there is a practice in psychiatry pharmacology to turn anyone not just pedophiles but anyone that has the misfortune to fall into the trap of the mental health services including children, into LGBT's. It was the side affect of the drug treatments initially but then became a therapy for sex offenders. So "BIG PHARMA AND PSYCHIATRISTS PSYCHOLOGISTS" are now marketing the bi product or they could get sued for say a male on female rapist becoming a male on male child/adult rapist or a female on male man/child rapist becoming female on female adult/child rapist. but knowing "BIG PHARMA BROWN and THE EVIL RICH ACADEMIA" they will try at least to destroy all records of previous convictions or mostly suppressed and unreported crimes.
It is a lie do not buy it or any other edition.

DSM IV TR
I sure wasnt expecting the First Indian Edition printed in 2005. If I had saved the packing I would have shipped it back. It makes me very leary of ordering from Amazon again.

Let me start by saying if you find this useful, please click on the "Yes" next to the question "Did you find this review uesful". The reason i ask is because i think this is important information and with enough yes's, it can move to the top of the reviews.
My review is to do with the quality of the book. You will see some people complain about the quality of this book. The reason is because there are 2 editions out there in English, the US release and the India release. The main way you can tell is from the cover as the Indian version has "Jaypee" as the publisher. Now, the Jaypee version is legal to buy and sell in the USA, but is of lesser quality (print and paper) than the US version and thats fine as long as you know thats what you are buying. Some people think they are buying a US release and pay US prices, but get a cheaper version.
As a result, i have created a new listing for the International edition, which can be found using B001GLFCUK in the search box. If it does not work, it is in the process of being accepted by Amazon.
If you thought you were getting a US verion and your copy says "Jaypee", contact the seller who has to accept it back.
