 It will change your life
This book changed my life when I read it a few years ago. I am now re-reading it and getting more layers of meaning and comprehension. As all of Machaelle Small Wright books, it brings a much wider perspective of the universe we live in and what is possible in life. It's absolutely inspiring. On top of all of this, Machaelle writes in an easy style, using a direct and honest tone. The book flows fast, though you might want to re-read some parts just to grasp the incredible amount of information given. It's hard to put down.
Extremely good book 100% worth its price.
It is a book about life, death, other levels of existance, reality, nature intelligencies... I have practiced her other books for having a better quality of life, and they all work great. I have read Dancing 3 times in these past 4 years. I recomend the expansive experience you'll get on reading Dancing...
Nature 101 on "How to Make Your Life Better"
This is the first book I read by the author. It's a real stretch for many but a pure delight to read. Her MAP White Brotherhood book and Flower Essences book are treasures in healing body, mind and spirit. Follow her into the Perelandra garden and discover that our lives are gardens. Whether it be a house, car, business, project and on ad infinitum, it qualifies as a garden as far as nature is concerned. And the ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS thing about it is that we can work with nature to make any area better! Folks! There's a whole world out there waiting for you to tap into it and all you have to be able to do is want to. The deck is stacked in your favor! The Universe wants you to succeed! IT WILL HELP YOUR DO IT RIGHT! This is truly an investment in yourself! And it's so easy.
Can you tell I'm a fan? I've used the MAP healing with the flower essences and the gardening techniques in my garden and in my home. I have started the Microbial work. Wherever you start, the results will be better balance for you.
 It opened me right up!
I first read Machaelle Small Wright's book while on retreat in a secluded pine forest in Colorado. It was as though the universe (or whoever) conspired to get me into that still small space to absorb the information coming my way.
Machaelle (if I may be informal) uses a writing style that is unpretentious and blatantly autobiographical. What I grew to like about the book is that it does not try to use pseudo science or overblown new age sentiment to make its case. Machaelle makes her case by simply writing about her experience.
She describes her experience of being called into relationship by Nature (capital N) and the energies that govern and hold form and matter in her garden in Perelandra. She then goes on to describe Nature's invitation to her to bilocate--be fully engaged in another dimension while being fully engaged in this one.
I have to say that this book really opened me up to the possibilities of parallel realities and the risks one takes in making this journey. Not only are there emotional, psychological and psychic risks to take, but there are physical ones as well. The physical body must adjust to its transformation as it is infused with a different quality of energy than we're used to. She addresses this as well.
The last half of the book details her experience of going back and forth between dimensions using a journal/diary format, a format I've never really enjoyed. This is why I've given the book four stars rather than five.
All in all, I would urge anyone who wants an honest companion for the journey to explore this book. I'm enjoying some of her other works right now--I'm glad I made the initial connection with this book.
Genius or Lunatic?
This is an amazing book - the best way I've been able to describe it to my friends who spend less time thinking about this stuff than I do is to say, "she's either really onto something, or needs to be seriously medicated" ;-)Of interest to anyone who has ever considered that there might be intelligence in nature or a larger organizing principle to the universe beyond tax codes, this book is a personal spirtual journey that involves both the nature spirits and Dwight D. Eisenhower in the afterlife (Yeah, that one). Unlikely, realistic, grounded and visionary this is a book for avid gardeners who want to know more about what goes on behind the scenes, those like myself prefer to do their gardening in other domains than dirt and anyone who loves a story that's both funny and challenging at the deepest levels.
