 This does not catch hair
I bought this product for use in my shower and bathroom sink, both of which collect a lot of hair, and I was very disappointed. I have been using it for about a week, and it is catching about a 10% of the hair that other drain protectors I've used in the past have collected. When I first got the product, I suspected that the huge slits that are all over the top of it would be a problem, but interestingly, most of the hair isn't even passing over the top of the product; instead it is simply sliding underneath the product, around the suction cups, and right into the drain. I think this would be better suited for those looking to catch chunks and particles rather than hair.
 Hair Catcher - Stops - A - Clog
So far so good, pretty little item. Who would have guessed that such a little 'flimsy-daisy-like' protector would help prevent clogs. Fits nicely over the drain, exactly how it is stated. Instructions, simple. Great product. Four stars because had to wait long time for delivery. Mix up on shippers end, but satisfied, just the same.
 Works Perfectly
If you have a problem with hair clogging your shower drain, this is the solution. Works perfectly & exactly as advertised. I've had virtually no standing water in my tub since starting using it, and I would get standing water within 1-2 minutes before I got it.
Stop-A-Clog Drain Protector
The product does exactly what it professes to do. I couldn't find another product to cover the open drain and catch hair in my older tub/shower. This product stays in place very effectively with it's 6 suction cups and prevents clogs as long as people don't remove it. It does require a smooth surface, however - the suction cups won't hold an rough surfaces.
 Stop A Clog Protector
I found the Stop-A-Clog Protector did not work for my bathtub drain but I cut the Protector to fit over my drain head and it collects some hair. The suction cups did not work on my bathtub floor. I will continue to use this product as it is the best available for my situation.
