Excellent product This unit works very well. I have used it on toilets only so far and has cleared even the toughest plugs. Much more effective and more tidy than a mechanical plunger. My local Walmart also carries the product and supplies so the parts are easily available localy also.
Kleer clears I've used this product on a variety sinks, tubs, and toilets. If I can get a good seal, and the blockage is before the vent, it has worked.
Worked great I can not believe how great this worked. I had tried 3 plungers (1 regular and 2 "high power") and while waiting for the plumber, had a neighbor suggest this. One shot, and the clog was cleared instantly.
Amazing...first try! After stubbornly struggling with a clogged toilet for three days, I read reviews for this product and decided that it was worth a try before calling a plumber. I am blown away - on the first attempt, POP! then swooooosh. I read the directions very carefully (inverting the plunger and making sure that I maintained a tight seal). The noise was a bit startling, and the plastic splash guard is included for a reason - without it, my entire bathroom would be soaked! Highly recommended.
The only thing that worked I had already spent at least $20 or $30 on plungers and chemicals trying to get my tub to drain, and had spent hours trying to get the plumbing snake into the drain far enough, but the best I could do was to get it from a complete clog to a trickle; and the plunging left me aching for days. I had almost given up when my husband spotted the Kleer Drain, and we said it was worth a try. I couldn't believe it. It was literally no work at all, and it took just five seconds to let loose a big pop, which completely cleared the clog. I only wish I had found this a month earlier.
All I had to do was read the instructions (the hardest part of the process), then unscrew a cap, insert a large capsule, screw the cap back on, put the rubber end into the drain, and apply light pressure to the handles for five seconds. I am really impressed.
The only negatives I can think of are these two: first, the CO2 capsules sound like they could be a little unstable if not handled carefully, and potentially dangerous, so it requires a lot of care; and of course there is the inconvenience of needing to replace the capsules when they run out. Assuming I can continue to find capsules to buy, though, I will be using this tool for years.
